Periklis Proussaefs, DDS, MS

Prosthodontist

Periklis Proussaefs is a Prosthodontist and Associate Professor at Loma Linda University. He is the Director and founder of the California Institute of Dental Education (CIDE). He received a certificate in Implant Dentistry, a certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Master’s degree in Prosthodontics from Loma Linda University in 2000. Dr. Proussaefs has published over 55 peer-reviewed articles while he has been editorial Board member for several peer-reviewed scientific journals such as the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, the Journal of Oral Implantology, the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and many others. His research and publications have received several Nation and Global level awards such as the Hickley award (twice in 2002 and 2016) and the Tylman award in 2002; he is also the recipient of the prestigious Robert James award in 2015. He maintains a private practice in Ventura, California focusing on prosthodontics and implant dentistry, while he conducts courses and workshops at the CIDE and at Loma Linda University. 

Safa Tahmaseb, DDS

Prosthodontist

Dr. Safa Tahmasebi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete his advanced education program with a master of science in Prosthodontics at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2013.

In 2013, Dr. Tahmasebi joined the SameDay Dental Implants Branemark Osseointegration Center in Dubai, UAE as a clinical director specializing in full mouth implant rehabilitation and smile reconstruction. He has been lecturing on full mouth implant rehabilitation protocols nationally and internationally at major conferences around the world.

In 2019, Dr. Tahmasebi joined the ClearChoice Dental Implant Center as a key member of the team specializing in immediate loading protocols and full mouth implant rehabilitation.

Angelo Cardarelli, DDS

Oral surgeon

Dr Angelo Cardarelli has been specialized in Oral surgery at the Sapienza University of Rome. He has been an Adjunct Professor at the San Raffaele University of Milan. He maintains a private practice in Milan limited to implant dentistry. He is the author of a recently published textbook entitled “Piezoelectric Surgery of Impacted Teeth”. Dr. Cardarelli has been lecturing internationally on topics related to complete arch implant reconstruction.
