  Autologous blood concentrates (PRP, PRF, i-PRF, etc) : Background, biology, phlebotomy techniques, clinical applications and limitations 

A comprehensive 1-day course that involves:
Lecturing / background / biology on PRP, PRF, i-PRF
Practice hands-on phlebotomy 
LIVE PATIENT DEMONSTRATION
Laboratory phlebotomy practice 


Course objectives:
Upon completion of the course, dentists - participants will:

Get familiar with the concept of implementing autologous blood concentrates in their practice
Review current literature on PRP, APRF, i-PRF etc.
Know the advantages and limitations of using autologous blood concentrates
Review surgical solutions when using PRFs
Obtain exposure on surgical protocols and treatment rationale
Gain observational experience in applying APRF and i-PRF
Gain practical experience by drawing blood from a mannequin
Gain LIVE hands-on practical experience by drawing blood from each other participants (voluntary).
Obtain insight on selecting patient candidates for autologous blood concentrates

8.15 – 9.45: Theory/lecture on PRF. Evolution and biologic rationale
9.45 – 10.00: Break
10.00 – 11.15: Recent studies/Lit review.
11.15 – 11.30 Break
11.30 – 12.15 Theory/lecture: Workflow and clinical cases. Brief presentation of the 
Live surgery demo Case
12.15 - 1.15: Lunch
1.15 – 2.45: Live Surgical Demonstration. 
2.45 – 3.00: Break/Post surgery discussion
3.00 – 4.00: Hands-on plastic mannequin draw blood
4.30 – 5.00: Hands-on, draw blood from each other
5.00 – 5.15:  Q & A, closing remarks
